A single dead module is often replaced by unclipping it from the cabinet. Color inconsistencies are usually solved by a module-level calibration. Communication errors, where a part of the screen goes black or shows junk, are often due to a faulty data cable or a loose connector plug. Power fluctuations, which cause the screen to flicker or restart, usually point to a failing PSU or a problem with the main power supply. Having a spare inventory of common components (modules, PSUs, receiving cards, fans) drastically reduces downtime. An annual service contract with the manufacturer is a wise investment. This contract usually covers remote monitoring, priority technical support, and on-site repairs. A one-year extended warranty is also common, but a three- or five-year warranty is highly recommended for peace of mind.
